Inverse funds should lose money when their benchmark indexes rise. Inverse funds also entail certain risks, including inverse correlation, leverage, market price variance and short sale risks. Inverse ETFs are designed to go down in value when the markets go up. These types of funds do not seek to achieve their stated investment objectives over a period of time greater than one day. Results greater than one day should not be expected to be a simple multiple of the period return of the corresponding benchmark and will likely differ significantly from such. The use of leverage may exacerbate the price volatility of the fund and result in the total loss of the investment.
An investor should carefully consider investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses before investing in an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). This information and more complete information, including potential risks, are included in each ETF prospectus, which can be obtained from Advanced Equities Asset Management, Inc. by calling (866) 299-4864. Read prospectus carefully before investing. ETFs may have investment objectives other than matching a particular market index, may have a tendency to trade below net asset value (NAV) and are subject to liquidity risk. Exchange traded funds are subject to risks similar to those of stocks. Investment returns will fluctuate and are subject to market volatility, so that an investor's shares, when redeemed or sold, may be worth more or less than their original cost. There is no certainty that any investment or strategy will be profitable or successful in achieving investment objectives. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Doing business in these state sponsors of terror does not mean these companies are acting illegally, as they have every right to do so. As an investor, however, you have the right to know if your investments hold such companies and determine whether investing in them reflects your views on terrorism. By excluding securities with business ties to state sponsors of terror, the returns of Terror-Free Large Cap Select may be lower than if decisions were made solely on investment considerations.
*AEAM uses Conflict Securities Advisory Group’s (CSAG) Global Security Risk Monitor database to screen out companies with ties to terrorist sponsoring states, and CSAG reviews model holdings on a quarterly basis to certify the strategy "Terror-Free."
